I think Ozzy should have won. I suggest that Yul shares with money with Ozzy.
Freaking DVR cut off on me with like 3 minutes left, I missed the whole end and had to come here to learn who won. Frankly, F that shiite. Ozzy totally should have won.
Ozzy - hands down - should have won. He was the last and true Survivor of the game. Shame the votes didn’t add up in his favor.
ozzy should have won - he was by far the best player and he seemed like a genuine, nice guy.One of the few people to ever play the game that actually can be proud of their actions.
I think Yul is awesome. I love me some Yul. He’s super intelligent and to tell you the truth I love everyone from the final 4. They are so true and very loyal to each other. I wish that Ozzy could have gotten at least 500,000 because he played hard. All of them did really. My only this is that Candice is a hater and an idiot.
No Way Ozzy should have won …. Yule ran the show from the get go ( after swinging Jonathan ) If he should share the money it should be with him ( John ) … If the game was just the best competitor then yes Ozzy is hands down the best … but the game is OUTWIT .. outlast and outplay. Congrats on getting it right !!! Oh and my DVR also cut out at with 5 mins left !!!
Yul deserves to win. He was winning from the beginning, to tell the truth. And why should a winner share his prize with his competitors? Survivor is only one of many reality shows where people hate, betray, use, and lie to each other in order to get some big bucks.

OZZY SHOULD HAVE WON !!!!!! he nails the others by a mile !! He won everything in the game why not the million ?? He was untouchable all through it thats unbelievable how people can be so dumb …. Me too my DVR cuts off before end and I was very mad …

Ozzy is the deserving winner only because he saved the Aitu 4’s hide when it was down to the wire. Sure, Yul was the strategist and had a BIG edge by having the immunity idol but things could have gone another way altogether had Ozzy not won challenge after challenge and thereby saving Iatu, AND Yul, from eventual elimination. He may not outwit as much as outlasted and outplayed the others, but due credit should be given to him. He is truly the best and most competitive “literal” survivor to date! I mean, abandon him on an island or in the jungle and he WILL survive!Truly an awesome player.
by the way, who won the car? Didnt watch that bit! If it was Yul, then he’s broken the jinx at last haha!
Our DVR cut us off too…thank goodness for this website to find out the winner. UGH! We’re bummed Ozzy didn’t win, but Yul was amazing too. This is a crazy game– it just proves you never know WHAT is going to happen!
Ozzy was the best player there he should have won, I was so disappointed, did you see Johnathan’s face when Ozzy was makining his speech, what an arrogant ass, I bet he was the one who blew it for Ozzy, he was probably jealous because Ozzy won almost every immunity challenge, I would love to see Ozzy in the next Survivor
I’m so excited that Yul won but even if Ozzy won, I still would have been happy. Both were great players! Ozzy still came out as a winner anyways. He got 100,000 dollars consolation money and fans voted for Ozzy to win the car in the end. (It was a Mercury Mariner, I think that what it was called).
Yul was smart and played the game really well! It was his smarts that kept in the game and finding the hidden immunity idol. Had it not been for the HII he probably would have been voted off awhile back because he would be considered a big threat.
With Yul being a leader through out the entire game, there was not a chance Becky would be the castaway winning Survivor Cooks Island. While Ozzy was a leader in an astonishing number of immunity competition winner, the women voters did select the winner properly, while the men did not.
I want to know who besides Yul won money. Yul played a smart game, but Ozzie was outstanding in the challenges! How much did the others win?
Anyone know who voted for who to make it a 5-4 win for Yul? I am so curious!!

i think yul said “the key to winning the game is maximizing the good luck and MITIGATING the bad luck”

Yes, Yul said “mitigating”. Kind of bugged me too. I’m not sure that they showed the final votes but I think the votes broke down like this:

Ozzy is a star!!! His skills were unmatched and he wasn’t just a great swimmer and fisher with awesome balancing and climbing skills but he also solved many of the puzzles quicker than others, especially the 2nd last challenge. His hands were tied by not having his own strong alliance (ie like becky and yul) and as a result he had to play hard. Yul being a work smart not hard kinda guy knew this and worked it!!!! Yul had a lot of luck on his side which enabled him to make the most of it, whereas Ozzy was the true master who relied on nothing but his skills to pave his path… Either way..they both got something and i had heaps of fun watching the show!!!
This is undoubtedly the BEST survivor EVER! I stayed up all night watching the whole thing at once! Yul is rare breed of genius which was thoroughly fascinating and Ozzy is some crazy island guy who seems to fly through the jungle. I love Sundra and her internal beauty. Glad to just see her on the show. Becky is actually kinda just lucky. You could have found a Becky anywhere. She had enough smarts to keep her alliance with Yul and just fly under the radar through the whole thing!
OZZY all the way, this voting was pure bull S#!+, there was a lot of hating towards Ozzy. Nevertheless Ozzy was the best player on survivor ever. The game was so entertaining, keep it coming Jeff!!!

If Ozzy had the immunity idol and Yul had to win all the immunity challenges.. Do you think Ozzy would be able to keep it until the end? And for that matter, do you think he would be able to convince Jonathan to flip again? Ozzy persona doesn’t have that enough charisma to become the people’s person. Yes he’s strong and willful.. but so does any raging hormonal youth.
I for sure will not vote someone who was not consistent about his future use for the money and also for the fact that he also had appeared in a softcore porn show. That pretty much says about his mental (or emotional) reliability.
I reckon that Yul deserved to win. He was the strategist - “the brain”. Ozzy’s more physically inclined, but I reckon he wouldnt have gotten to the final four if it werent for Yul and yeah..^^

My grandsons can fish{catch’m}swim in races and win,
they grew up climbing trees, swinging limb too limb
tree to tree. BUT NO WAY COULD THEY BE SMART ENOUGH

Well, since I’m from South Africa, we only found out (apart from those checking out the websites) that Yul won Survivor Cook Islands yesterday (20/11/2007). I must say that he deserved it, he played the game really well, strategically speaking. I was equally amazed when he found the ammunity idol.
I also would have loved Ozzie to win, because he dominated in the challenges. He’s a man on many talents. Being from South Africa, where we have our own edition of Survivor, it isn’t quite the same… Why, I can’t explain.
I hope you guys would one day consider chosing people from all over the world as I think this would be totally awesome.
Once again I would like to congratulate Yul, Ozzie and Becky on becoming the final three. Yul, you were great, awesome, and a best pal anyone out there on the island could have wanted. You guys did what no other survivor contestants were able to do. You played together as a team, right till the end. And I’m certain you guys got more than you could have dreamed of, you gained a new set of friends.
I hope that atleast a few guys actually read this.

As Keshnee, I’m am also from South Africa. Only got to see the Survivor Final & Reunion this week.
What a season!! Me & my family are huge Survivor fans and we really enjoyed this one. Personally my favourite! Yul definitely should’ve & deserved to won. He played the game very cleverly. It was very good to see such a strong bond of 4 to the end. They deserved their spots. Ozzy was also great! And he did walk away empty-handed. All in all, this was a great show. Wouldn’t mind watching one like this again!! P.S. Keshnee, I’m totally with you on choosing people all around the world.
