Survivor Cook Island Back to Battle of the Sexes

Survivor Cook Island is no longer about Race. It’s about the sexes.  In the last several Survivor Cook Islandepisodes the female members ganged up to remove a male member.  The latest casualty to hear the words “The Tribe Has Spoken” is J.P. Calderon

The war of the races turned into a battle of the sexes. On the Raro tribe, the women quickly became irritated with the men, who seemed to lounge around while the women worked. As Parvati Shallow formed a bond with Nate Gonzales, she learned that the four men had a “tight” alliance. Strength didn’t help the Raro tribe win the two challenges, though, and they lost to the Aitu tribe twice. The Aitu tribe won the reward of pillows and blanket and avoided a trip to Tribal Council.

Candice Woodcock returned from Exile Island and told the tribe there was no immunity idol. When asked why she thought she was sent away, she played dumb. She told the cameras she didn’t want her new tribe to think she was getting preferential treatment from former tribemates. Her athleticism helped her Aitu tribe win the two challenges.

J.P., much to his surprise. He assumed that everyone would vote for Stephannie Favor, who had told the group she was the weakest link. But the women on the Raro tribe, led by Jenny Guzon-Bae and Rebecca Boreman, decided to change the game by voting J.P. off. That “tight” alliance among the men fell apart as two of the men joined the women in voting off J.P. “You outwitted me big time,” J.P. said as he departed.
